Another family session with Gabriel & Florence.
I still remember photographing them on their wedding day like it was just yesterday. And yet, somehow, here we are, years later, photographing another chapter of their lives together.
To be honest, the past 10 years feel like a bit of a blur. Maybe it’s because COVID somehow distorted our sense of time, or maybe that’s simply what happens when you’re busy living life. The years seem to slip by quietly, without us even noticing.
I don’t just want to be the person you hire for one beautiful day. I love being invited back.
From weddings, to maternity sessions, to welcoming your little ones, to watching your family grow, there’s something incredibly special about being able to photograph these little milestones over and over again.
After photographing someone for years, the photographs become more than just pretty pictures. They become a visual record of a life we might otherwise forget, what you looked like, how tiny your children once were, the home you lived in, the way you held each other......that’s the greatest privilege of all, being trusted to remember these moments for you, even when you eventually forget them yourself.
